Scream Like A Girl

New Year 2011, we were lighting fireworks at the porch in the house in Isabela. I told the boys to light them and run screaming like girls.

Scoot 'n Camp!

last weekend, i had a chance to do two of my favorite things at the same time- riding and camping. woke up at 5am on saturday and rode my scoot out to real, quezon and camped-out! went with some friends from the vespa club of the philippines (vcop).

i'm hoping to bring tintin and my boys there soon. we love camping.

Manu got his Kuya Ikoy a pet rock for his birthday. But he couldn't part with it. He's grown too fond of Petra, it seems. It his now. And he loves that rock so. The reason? "Dada, she rocks!"

Motorcycle Heaven

Went riding again today. Riding buddy Uriel and I set out for the motorcycle museum in Lemery, Batangas. The ride going was great, long stretches and a lot of mild twisties. My GTS300 was able to stretch it's legs, so to speak. It was cloudy and damp early today, and it started to drizzle half an hour into the ride, but we're so glad we braved it. The destination was incredible. Surreal, even. The museum had over 160 motorcycles, each one incredibly well preserved. Never mind the money (although that in itself is awe-inspiring) imagine the time and effort (and dedication) it took to assemble the collection. I died and went to motorcycle heaven.

Rizal's Birthday Ride

Today is Jose P. Rizal's birthday. Yes the National Hero. I went on a little ride organized by the Vespa Club Of The Philippines (VCOP). We met up at around 6:30 in the morning in Burgos Cricle inside Fort Bonifacio Global City, rode to the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani and took lots of pictures. The big group went on to Intramuros, I dropped out to go someplace else. Great ride.

A New Vespa

So i got a new one. The red vespa is gone and now i have a black one to replace it. Except for the color, there might not be any obvious difference. It's what lies beneath. This is a more powerful machine. It's a Super! I used this new Vespa to ride out to Baguio and La Union on Independence day weekend. I had a blast! I'm happy i made the switch. i miss the loud red color though.
